KY General Assembly Passes HB 269

On March 25, 2022, HB 269 passed the Kentucky Senate with a bipartisan majority.  The legislation would eliminate the death penalty for individuals diagnosed with a severe mental illness.  The next step is for Governor Beshear to consider and hopefully sign HB 269 into law.
